CarboDerm adapts the concept of CO2 reaction and is receiving growing popularity in the U.S.
This product works by creating a CO2 reaction through the contact of Carboderm gel and sheet.
When CO2 reaction is transferred deep into skin, hemoglobin in the red blood cells release O2 and take CO2. This process not only provides O2 to the skin, but also activates blood circulation, metabolism, protein synthesis, limposite, white blood cell, and disposes wastes of the skin to serve antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and regeneration function.
Wait for the reaction to take place for 15 min and take the sheet off. Wipe out the remaining gel with sponge and use modelling mask or cool refrigerated sheet mask for calming.
The redness on topical areas is caused by the concentration of hemoglobin on the treated area. This redness disappears after 5~10 min.
You can experience rapid regeneration when CarboDerm is used the day after laser treatments or acne care micro dermabration as the combination synergy effect from the main treatment and CarboDerm enhances the overall results.
Carboderm effect is maximized with repeated treatments.
Normally, it is recommended that the first treatment with needle-less carboxy therapy protocol is proceeded in the clinic. It is recommended that patients use the product 5 times during the first week after the treatment, and once every other day during the second week.
Before and After picture may be used to better measure the results.
(Main Treatment: After Laser or MTS treatments, include Carboderm as a follow-up care in the protocol for maximum result. Laser/MTS/MTS Peel/Lipo suction treatments are usually completed in the total of 4 treatments (one treatment every 2 weeks for two months), and including carboderm treatment in between will greatly speed skin regeneration and reduce total recovery time. Results from the main treatments are maximized and enhanced through this synergy effect that also promotes healthier skin.
Here is a cautionary information on Carboderm:
It is normal to experience burning sensation (FIRE) during the first 5~6 min and cooling sensation (ICE) afterwards.
It is important to thoroughly inform patients that such sensation is normal and that the burning sensation is short-lasting.
The burning sensation does not actually burn your skin and again, it is completely normal.
For sensitive skin type, not pressing on the mask sheet and letting the mask sheet lightly contact the skin may be one technique for sensitive skin treatment.
Skin gets used to the sensation after repeated treatments so the burning and cooling sensation will not be overwhelming.
But when patients with extremely sensitive skin types do not want to experience such sensations at all, anesthetic cream may be used 10~20 min prior to Carboderm treatment.
(Most patients do not need anesthetic cream for Carboderm treatment but it can definitely be an option)
We have a topical anesthetic with enhanced functionality called " ANESTA " that we produce and distribute for Auto micro needle therapy.
It is an OTC product with lidocain 5%, and shows about 12% of anesthesia when absorbed.
Please keep in mind that applying carboderm on an opened and vulnerable skin such as post-acne extraction requires more caution because the skin is very sensitive.
We normally do not recommend Carboderm on an opened skin.
If acne extraction is treated, it is recommended to apply carboderm treatment from the day after treatment. So if patients cannot come into clinics everyday, patients can proceed with Carboderm at home (1 box) everyday from the day after the treatment.
This innovative and effective approach that Carboderm takes has contributed to its enormous popularity in Europe and Asia, with its recent sensational response in the U.S.
Carboderm is currently used in clinics and skincare shops for various purposes including regeneration, elasticity, and post acne care.
